This is great news, it was obviously not restored when we visited in 2011. Of course we sort of blasted through the aqueduct, banging into every conceivable abutment. The approach and exit to the aqueduct are at opposing right angles, so it was something of a challenge for first-time boaters.

The featured picture here is not my own, but from wikimedia. We approached on an overcast, rainy day without a single person walking on the towpath.
