The story of their trip was shown on their Channel 4 TV program, <em>Great Canal Journeys<\/em> on Dec. 7. Coincidentally, the Mon &amp; Brec will be <em>our<\/em> next canal journey, and we\u2019ve been perusing the guide shown above. This has to be one of the best canal guides I\u2019ve ever seen, with detailed maps, boating advice, an exhaustive list of pubs and other services and a great table showing distance from bridges, aqueducts and winding holes to either ends of the canal (Brecon or Five Locks near Cwmbran).<\/p>\n<p>The current editor of the guide is pictured if you follow the link below. We were sent the guide by the boat hire we booked (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cambriancruisers.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cambrian Cruisers<\/a>), but unfortunately it\u2019s a little difficult to obtain the guide otherwise.
